A: The watergardening.com platform accepts all common media formats including: .mp3, .flv, .wmv, .asf, .avi, .mov, .3gp, .mpg, .mpeg, or .mp4.
When a you upload a video, we transcode it for display in a standard Flash viewer. As a result, all of the community's content is accessible with any Flash-enabled browser. No third party player or client-side software required.
Q: Why does my audio file play too fast, too slow, or sound like a chipmunk?
A: Your audio file may be encoded at a sampling rate that our audio player doesn't support. As our player is built in Flash, it can only accept files that have been encoded at multiples of 11.025 kHz. Try encoding your file at 11.025 kHz, 22.050 kHz, or 44.100 kHz, and upload it again.
Q: Are there any file size limits?
A: You may upload as many files as you like. Uploaded videos, photos, and audio files are limited to 100MB per file.

A: All watergardening.com pages that are open to the public can be indexed by search engines. We've based our page code on good SEO practices, such as using relevant keywords in page links and building page HTML with semantic markup. Some functionality (such as page comments) will not be indexed, but keyword-rich content such as descriptions, tags, and categories will all be captured.
Q: I received an error when uploading my video or audio file.
A: Processing will fail for a video or audio file if it exceeds the maximum file size (100 megabytes), or if it's not in a format that we support (an audio files must be in .mp3 format; videos must be in one of the following formats: .flv, .wmv, .asf, .avi, .mov, .3gp, .mpg, .mpeg, or .mp4).
Q: I'm having trouble viewing the sign in page.
A: Browsers can have problems displaying the sign in form on www.watergardening.com when their pop-up blocker is enabled. Please try disabling your browsers pop-up blocker, or simply create an exception for both www.watergardening.com and community.watergardening.com.
