    Lightbulb Place Pond Pics Here!

A temporary solution to consolidating pond pics. I would suggest any comments on pics either PM poster or start new thread to keep this just pics. It's a shot. I'll start if you all follow:

I'll play. This is one I built for myself in March '04. I had only built it to about where the right edge of the bridge is at first but then later that summer I expanded it to go the full width of the deck and thats when I actually built the bridge.

    My Pond Pics Here

I've come to the conclusion that theres only one question in regards to ponding that can be answered simply and with absolute certainty..... "Do I have to add water before I add fish?"

Every other question must be answered starting with "It depends".

Posted before, but no good ones this year yet. Why is it everytime you see what someone else has done, you want to start digging again?

    Hi,

Jackies I've seen before - beautiful as ever.

CS - that's a great shot of a great waterfall - love it. You must have got a 10,000 gph pump running that

    Thanks rund2it....your close. It's a 7500 GPH pump.

But, just a few weeks ago, we backed down to a 4500 GPH. Lessened the flow slightly, and makes the pond itself less "agitated."

Hope to save some on the ol electric bill too!

    First Spring Pics

Still early and the plants are just starting, but such a change from winter. Out of the twenty-seven babies we had, only one was blue and white or blue & black. I though he was really pretty.

This is my first install, which has a 12x12 pond and a 8x8 pond. The 12 x12 has a 26" biofall with two 5000gph pumps (only one is running in the pic), a 3000gph running the two small falls and a 1200gph with a uv light running the fountain coming out of the boulder. The 8x8 pond has a 30' cascading stream which also has a 26" biofall and another 5000gph pump. The homeowner doesn't run all the pumps all the time due to a sudden increase in his electric bill. They are only all on at once when he his entertaining guests. This was a sure way to break me into my business, huh? It has been 2 1/2 yrs. and it's still running great.

This is a couple of my other installs. I need to go back and get updated pics since the landscaping has had time to mature. I must say doing this for a career is AWESOME!
